Judgment at Nuremberg (film)

I just finished watching the 1961 film Judgment at Nuremberg. It was "a re-creation of the famous Nazi judicial trial." "In this stirring courtroom drama, acclaimed producer/director Stanley Kramer dared to ask one of the most emotionally charged questions of our century: who was responsible for the Holocaust? The story centers on the trial of four Nazi judges accused of war crimes, men who willingly distorted the law to perpetuate the greatest atrocity ever committed against humanity." Despite… Continue

Never again!!!!!!!!

Just a poem i wrote

we said never again
we said never again
we said never again
but did we really mean it?
people are still being killed
people are still living in fear
people are still in pain
so when we said"never again"
did we really mean it?
now look back the year is 1945
we saw the camps
we saw the people dying
we saw all teh pain
we safed these people
and made it very clear
"NEVER AGAIN!"
now look forward the year is 1994
people are running away
people are being shot
people are crying

Well, I didn't expect such mixed results! By the way, I agree with Sarah, and I'm positive that no one is trying to insult or oppose anyone else here at all. Obviously everyone has different views and all we are doing here is voicing our own, not...

I really love that book as far as the literature goes, but the concept itself, I don't care for. Living in a utopia is unhealthy in my opinon, as is expressed in the end of the book. But I am curious why you don't like the book?

Laura, i honestly don't think Katie meant to insult you or anybody else when she said that everyone who we honor does bad things... she was just generalizing and saying that sometimes people make mistakes on their way to doing great things. Not ev...
